LHDN is rolling MyInvois out in waves, starting with the largest businesses and extending down to smaller ones over time. As your turn arrives, issuing a validated e-invoice through MyInvois stops being optional, so the practical question is whether your accounting software can submit for you.
Complying with Singapore's InvoiceNow does not cover MyInvois, and the reverse is also true: they are two separate systems. A business operating in both countries needs software that handles each.
