StoreHub

Retail & F&B POS · Malaysia

The POS that most Malaysian cafes and shops actually end up on, and the most complete retail and F&B system in this roundup. Priced in ringgit, built for the region. Assessed from published pricing and named user reviews; a hands-on test is on our list.

At a glance

The short version

What we liked

  • A real retail and F&B system, not a payment app with a counter bolted on
  • Stock control, reporting and table management that a growing shop can lean on
  • Priced in ringgit and built for the Malaysian market rather than translated into it
  • Widely used locally, so staff often already know it

Where it falls short

  • Not yet hands-on tested by us, research based for now
  • Named reviewers repeatedly report hardware upgrades breaking printer compatibility
  • Support quality is described as inconsistent by more than one reviewer
  • There is no Singapore pricing page, so SG buyers are quoted in US dollars

Bottom line For a Malaysian cafe, restaurant or shop that needs stock and a proper till rather than just a way to take money, StoreHub is the default choice, and it earns that position. Go in clear-eyed about two things: the hardware is part of the deal and reviewers report being pushed into upgrades, and support is the weakest part of the product. If all you want is cheap payment acceptance, HitPay costs less and asks less of you.

The verdict

What StoreHub is, and who it is for

StoreHub is a Malaysian point-of-sale company selling a full retail and F&B system: a till, stock control, reporting, table management, and the hardware to run it on. It is the most complete POS covered here, and in Malaysia it is close to a default, which matters more than it sounds. Software that your next hire has already used is software you spend less time training people on.

The distinction worth holding on to is between a POS and a payment rail. HitPay is a cheap way to take money. StoreHub is a way to run a shop. If you need to know what stock you have, which items make money, and what table seven ordered, that is a POS problem, and a payment app will not solve it however good its rates are.

The pricing is worth reading carefully, because it is where the geography shows. StoreHub publishes ringgit pricing for Malaysia at RM122, RM235 and RM471 a month for Starter, Advanced and Pro. It does not publish a Singapore pricing page at all, and a Singapore visitor is served the international table in US dollars at USD 39, 79 and 149. That is a genuine signal about where the product’s centre of gravity is, and Singapore buyers should factor in currency exposure as well as the sticker price.

The consistent criticism, and it is consistent enough that we would not publish this review without saying it, concerns hardware and support. Named reviewers on Capterra describe hardware upgrades that broke printer compatibility and left them buying kit they had not planned for, and describe support as inconsistent. The software gets good marks. The relationship around it is where the complaints cluster.

We have assessed StoreHub from its published pricing and named public reviews rather than a full hands-on run, so it carries a research based score.

Pricing

What StoreHub actually costs

Verified against StoreHub’s own Malaysian and international pricing pages, July 2026. Hardware is charged separately and is not optional for most setups.

PlanMalaysiaInternationalWhat you get
Starter RM122/mo USD 39/moThe till, basic stock and reporting. Enough for a single small shop.
AdvancedThe realistic one RM235/mo USD 79/moAdvanced inventory and advanced reporting. This is where most growing shops land.
Pro RM471/mo USD 149/moAdvanced security and API access. For multi-outlet operations.

Two things the price table does not show you. First, hardware is a real cost and it is where reviewers report being caught out; budget for it and ask, in writing, what happens to your existing printers if the platform requires an upgrade. Second, there is no Singapore pricing page. A Singapore buyer is quoted the international rate in US dollars, which means your POS bill moves with the exchange rate. Neither of these is a dealbreaker, but both are the kind of thing you would rather learn now than on your second invoice.

SG & MY compliance

The local checks that matter

Malaysia first Built for it Ringgit pricing, local hardware supply and local market focus. This is a Malaysian product sold to Malaysian businesses, not a global tool with a translation layer.
F&B and retail modes Both Table management for F&B and stock control for retail are both first-class, which is unusual at this price.
Singapore pricing USD only storehub.com/sg does not exist. Singapore buyers see the international table in US dollars, so your monthly cost carries currency risk.
SST and MyInvois Check current Confirm directly how sales data flows into your SST returns and LHDN MyInvois submissions, and whether that runs through your accounting tool rather than the POS.
Hardware lock-in Ask first Named reviewers report platform upgrades breaking existing printer compatibility. Ask what your upgrade path costs before you buy the hardware.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask us

How much does StoreHub cost in Malaysia?
StoreHub costs RM122 a month for Starter, RM235 for Advanced and RM471 for Pro, verified against StoreHub’s own Malaysian pricing page in July 2026. Hardware is charged separately. You will find lower figures quoted on third-party comparison sites; they are out of date, so use the vendor’s own page.
Is StoreHub available in Singapore?
Yes, but there is no Singapore pricing page, and a Singapore visitor is served the international table in US dollars at USD 39, 79 and 149 a month. Practically, that means your POS bill moves with the exchange rate, and it tells you where the company’s focus is.
Is StoreHub good for F&B?
F&B is one of its strongest suits. Table management, order flow and stock all sit in one system, which is exactly the job a cafe or restaurant needs doing and exactly what a payment app cannot do. The reservations we would raise are about hardware and support rather than the software.
StoreHub or HitPay?
They solve different problems, and the choice is not close once you name yours. HitPay is the cheapest way to take payment, with no monthly fee, and a thin POS. StoreHub is a real POS with stock control and F&B tools, at a real monthly price. If you need to know what stock you have, you need StoreHub.
What do users complain about most?
Two things, consistently, across named reviewers: hardware upgrades that broke printer compatibility and left people buying unplanned kit, and inconsistent support. The software itself reviews well. Ask about the hardware upgrade path in writing before you sign.

I assessed StoreHub in July 2026 from its published Malaysian and international pricing pages and named public reviews. I verified the ringgit pricing directly against StoreHub’s own site after finding that widely-quoted third-party figures were wrong. This is not yet a hands-on test, so it carries a research based score. When I run it on a real counter, this review is updated and re-dated.
