The short version
What we liked
- Named reviewers consistently praise the interface: the best-designed product in the local payroll category
- Real dual-market build: Singapore CPF and IRAS, Malaysia EPF, SOCSO and EIS, with local offices in both
- Modular pricing lets you start with the HR bundle and add payroll when ready
- Samsung Ventures-backed with 8,000+ client companies across three markets
Where it falls short
- Not yet hands-on tested by us, research based for now
- A 5-user minimum and a one-time account setup fee make it less friendly to micro teams
- Named reviewers note slower feature rollout and thinner functionality than bigger suites
- The Time module was still marked coming soon on the SG pricing page at review time
Bottom line Swingvy is what you shortlist when the pay run is table stakes and you also want leave, claims and a system employees do not hate using. Micro teams that mainly need payroll should start with Talenox and its free tier; teams of five or more that want HR workflow in a clean interface should trial Swingvy. See the full payroll roundup.
The verdict
What Swingvy is, and who it is for
Swingvy is a payroll and HR platform founded by a Malaysian-Korean team, with offices in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei and Seoul, over 8,000 client companies, and a Series A led by Samsung Ventures, that fund’s first investment in South East Asia. Unlike most rivals that are one country’s product with an export edition, Swingvy is structurally a Singapore-and-Malaysia company, which shows in how it handles CPF and IRAS on one side and EPF, SOCSO and EIS on the other.
What named reviewers consistently single out is the design: a clean, modern interface that employees actually use for leave and claims without training. In a category where most products look like government portals, that matters for adoption. The pricing is modular: a Premium bundle of HR Hub, Claims and Leave at S$4.25 per user per month billed annually (S$5.00 monthly), with Payroll as an add-on at the same rate, both verified on Swingvy’s Singapore pricing page. A 10-person team running the full stack therefore pays around S$85 a month on annual billing.
The fine print holds the score back a touch. Plans start at 5 users and carry a one-time account setup fee, which makes Swingvy a poorer fit for a three-person team than Talenox’s free tier. Reviewers also note that new features arrive slowly and the feature set is thinner than the big global suites, and the Time and attendance module was still marked coming soon on the SG page when we checked. None of this dents the core: for a five-to-fifty-person SG or MY team wanting payroll plus genuinely pleasant HR workflow, it is the strongest design in the category. This is our research based read; we will confirm it hands-on and update the review.
Pricing
Swingvy pricing
Verified on Swingvy’s Singapore pricing page in July 2026. Modular per-user pricing; plans start with 5 users and carry a one-time account setup fee. Annual billing saves 15%.
| Module | Price | What you get | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium (HR Hub, Claims, Leave)Annual billing | S$4.25/user/mo | The core HR workflow: employee records, leave and claims. | Teams formalising HR. S$5.00 on monthly billing. |
| Payroll add-on | S$4.25/user/mo | CPF, IRAS, EPF, SOCSO and EIS payroll on top of the HR bundle. | The full stack. Also S$5.00 on monthly billing. |
| Enterprise | Custom | Larger-team pricing by quote. | Bigger organisations; contact Swingvy. |
The honest read: a 10-person team on HR plus Payroll pays about S$85 a month billed annually, competitive with QuickHR’s Enhanced tier. Remember the two extras: a minimum of 5 users, so micro teams pay for seats they may not fill, and a one-time setup fee the pricing page mentions without stating, so ask for the figure in your quote. The Time module was marked coming soon at S$2.55 to S$3.00 per user when we checked.
