Best of · CRM
A CRM only works if your team actually uses it, so we rank on how easy each is to adopt, what the free tier really gives you, and how the price behaves as you grow, not on feature checklists.

Our picks
If you only read one line: for most small teams, start on HubSpot free. The rest depends on your budget and whether you live in another software suite.
HubSpot
Free-first CRM
The easiest CRM to adopt, with a genuinely free tier for unlimited users. Grows into marketing and service tools when you are ready.
Zoho CRM
Cloud CRM
The most CRM for the money, and unbeatable if you already run other Zoho apps. Research based for now, hands-on test to come.
Pipedrive
Sales pipeline
The most focused option if all you want is a clean, visual sales pipeline without the wider platform. Research based for now.
Side by side
HubSpot, Zoho CRM and Pipedrive carry research based scores until we test them, and all three now have full reviews; Pepper Cloud is tracked but not yet reviewed.

How we picked
A CRM only works if the team uses it, so ease of setup and daily use is weighted above raw feature depth.
We judge what the free or entry plan actually gives you, not the enterprise brochure.
Per-seat costs are scored against a small-team headcount, because that is where CRMs get expensive.
Nothing is ranked higher, or added, because it pays a referral fee.
The shortlist
The one to start with. The easiest CRM to adopt, with a genuinely free tier for unlimited users and a clean path into marketing and service tools as you grow. Watch the jump to paid, per-seat tiers when you outgrow free.
The value play. More configurable capability per dollar than anything at its price, a genuinely free edition for up to 3 users, and superb if you already run Zoho Books or other Zoho apps. The trade-offs: a steeper learning curve than HubSpot, and SGD pricing Zoho only renders in the browser, so our review prints no local price.
The focused pick. If all you want is a clean, visual sales pipeline without a wider platform, Pipedrive is the tightest tool for the job: the most consistently praised CRM interface in its class. From US$14 per seat per month billed annually, no free plan, and budget past the sticker: reporting depth and add-on costs are the recurring complaints. Research based until we run it hands-on.
A Singapore-built CRM with a strong WhatsApp and messaging sales angle for local SMEs. We track it for completeness and it is on our list to test hands-on; until then it carries no score, because we have not used it properly yet.
