At a glance
The short version
What we liked
- The most intuitive deal pipeline in small-business CRM: 93 percent of nearly 600 Capterra reviewers cite the simple interface and quick setup
- Genuinely fast to adopt for a small sales team; solo founders and teams of 1 to 15 reps are its home ground
- Sales automation, email sync and a 500-plus app marketplace on the mid tiers
- Clean four-tier pricing with annual billing, verified against Pipedrive’s own served pricing page
Where it falls short
- Not yet hands-on tested by us, research based for now
- No free plan, only a 14-day trial, and billing is in USD with no SGD or MYR option
- Reporting depth is the top recurring complaint among named reviewers, and add-ons push the real price well past the sticker
- Support quality draws consistent criticism across G2 and Capterra, including from named executives in early 2026
Bottom line Pipedrive is the specialist: it does the sales pipeline better than anything near its price, and very little else. If you want marketing, service and a free tier in one system, HubSpot remains our category pick; if you want maximum depth per dollar inside a suite, see Zoho CRM. See the full CRM roundup.
The verdict
What Pipedrive is, and who it is for
Pipedrive is a sales-first CRM built around one idea: your pipeline is a board of deals you drag from stage to stage, and everything else, contacts, activities, email, automation, hangs off it. It is sold in four plans, Lite, Growth, Premium and Ultimate, renamed in late 2025 from the old Essential, Advanced, Professional and Power ladder that most third-party guides still describe. There is no free plan; a 14-day trial is the way in.
Its reputation is unusually consistent. Across more than 3,000 named reviews on each of Capterra (4.5 of 5) and G2 (4.3 of 5), the same two things repeat: the pipeline is the easiest to live in of any small-business CRM, and 93 percent of Capterra reviewers who mention it cite the simple interface and quick setup. For a team of one to fifteen reps whose entire process is first contact to signed proposal, that focus is the product.
The criticisms are just as consistent, and they are why the score is 7.9 rather than higher. Reporting is the top recurring complaint: deal, activity and contact data cannot be combined natively, and custom-field reporting sits behind higher tiers. Support draws steady criticism, including zero and one star ratings from named executives in February and March 2026 reviews. And the real price creeps: lead capture, web visitor tracking and campaign features are paid add-ons, so the competitive per-seat sticker is rarely what a growing team ends up paying. None of this is disqualifying; it is the shape of a specialist tool. This is our research based read; we will confirm it hands-on and update the review.
Pricing
What Pipedrive costs
Verified against Pipedrive’s own pricing page as served in July 2026. Pipedrive blocks automated access to its live site, so we verified the served page via the Internet Archive’s capture of 8 July 2026, and we say so plainly. Prices are USD, per seat, billed annually; monthly billing costs more.
| Plan | Price | What you get | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | US$14/seat/mo | The pipeline, contacts, 3,000 open deals, basic automation. One payment of US$168 per seat per year. | Solo founders proving the pipeline habit. |
| GrowthMost teams | US$39/seat/mo | Full email sync, automation sequences, forecasting tools. US$468 per seat per year. | Small teams running a real sales process. |
| Premium | US$59/seat/mo | AI features, deeper automation and permissions. US$708 per seat per year. | Teams with an admin and a growing rep count. |
| Ultimate | US$79/seat/mo | Highest limits, extended support. US$948 per seat per year. | The top of the ladder; most SMBs never need it. |
Two honesty notes. First, the plan names changed in late 2025, so many guides you will find still price Essential, Advanced and Professional plans that no longer exist; the figures above are from Pipedrive’s own served page. Second, the sticker is not the total: LeadBooster lead capture, web visitor tracking and email campaigns are separate paid add-ons, and named reviewers repeatedly describe a gap between the budgeted and the actual bill. Billing is USD only; there is no SGD or MYR price list, so your card carries the currency conversion.
