EasyStore

Multichannel commerce · Malaysia & Singapore

The regional answer to Shopify, with the one thing Shopify does not give you: native Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop sync, and no transaction fee. The recurring complaint, for a decade now, is support. Assessed from verified pricing and named reviewers.

At a glance

The short version

What we liked

  • Native Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and Lelong sync, which Shopify charges apps for
  • No transaction fee on its own plans, unlike Shopify
  • Built in the region since 2013, with local payment methods assumed rather than bolted on
  • Genuinely easy to set up, which almost every reviewer agrees on

Where it falls short

  • Not yet hands-on tested by us, research based for now
  • Support quality is the recurring complaint, and it has been for ten years
  • Feature depth is thin next to Shopify once you want something unusual
  • Its Malaysian ringgit pricing is not published where we could verify it

Bottom line If your sales really happen on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, EasyStore is built for the way you actually sell, and it does not charge you a transaction fee for the privilege. That is a real advantage over Shopify-style platforms in this region. The reservation is support, and it is not a rumour: the same complaint recurs in Malaysian forum threads from 2015, 2018 and 2023, and in its Capterra reviews. Buy it for the channel sync, not for the safety net.

The verdict

What EasyStore is, and who it is for

EasyStore is a Penang-founded commerce platform, running since 2013, aimed squarely at how South East Asian small businesses actually sell: not through a beautiful standalone website, but across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, a Facebook page, WhatsApp, and maybe a storefront of their own. It syncs those channels natively. That is the product.

It is worth being precise about why that matters, because it is the one place EasyStore genuinely beats the global platforms. Shopify can reach those marketplaces, but only through third-party apps, and it takes a cut of your sales through its own processing arrangements. EasyStore treats the local marketplaces as first-class channels and charges no transaction fee on its plans. For a seller doing volume on Shopee, that difference is not a rounding error.

Singapore pricing is published openly and we verified it: S$61, S$124, S$256 and S$359 a month. Malaysian ringgit pricing is a different story. The Malaysian pricing URL serves the Singapore dollar table, and the ringgit figures we found came only from third-party aggregators that did not agree with each other, so we are not printing one.

Now the hard part, and the reason this is a "consider it" rather than a "buy it". Support is the recurring complaint, and it has been for a decade. Malaysian forum threads from 2015, from 2018 and from 2023 all land on the same criticism: slow or unhelpful support, and thinner features than Shopify once you want to do something the platform did not anticipate. Its Capterra rating sits at 3.3 out of 5 from a small number of reviews, with only about a third of reviewers saying they would recommend it. One thread describes a broken search function driving a migration to WooCommerce.

A complaint that survives ten years and three different forum eras is not noise. It is a characteristic of the product. Weigh it honestly: you are buying excellent local channel sync from a company whose support has disappointed people for a long time. For many sellers that trade is still worth making. Go in knowing you are making it.

Pricing

What EasyStore actually costs

Singapore pricing verified against EasyStore’s own pricing page, July 2026. Malaysian ringgit pricing is deliberately omitted, see the note below.

PlanSingaporeTransaction feeWho it suits
StandardStart here S$61/mo 0%A seller getting off spreadsheets and onto real channel sync.
Business S$124/mo 0%More channels and staff accounts as the volume grows.
Enterprise S$256/mo 0%Larger catalogues and multi-channel operations.
Unlimited S$359/mo 0%The top tier, for established multichannel sellers.

On Malaysian pricing: we tried to verify it and could not. EasyStore’s Malaysian pricing URL serves the Singapore dollar table, and the ringgit figures circulating on third-party comparison sites do not agree with each other or convert cleanly from the SGD prices. Rather than print a number we cannot stand behind, we have printed none. Ask EasyStore directly for the ringgit figure.

On the 0% transaction fee: this is the quiet advantage. Platforms that take a percentage of every sale cost you more precisely as you succeed. Note that your payment gateway will still charge its own processing fee, so 0% is EasyStore’s cut, not the total cost of taking money.

SG & MY compliance

The local checks that matter

Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop Native The local marketplaces are first-class channels, not third-party app add-ons. This is the main reason to buy EasyStore over a global platform.
Local payments Assumed Regional payment methods are treated as normal rather than as an edge case, which is not true of every global platform operating here.
Singapore pricing Published S$61 to S$359 a month, published openly and verified. Credit where it is due, this is more transparent than several competitors.
Malaysia pricing Not verifiable The Malaysian pricing page serves the SGD table. Third-party ringgit figures conflict, so we publish none. Ask the vendor directly.
Support Known weakness Slow and unhelpful support is the single most repeated complaint, in forum threads from 2015, 2018 and 2023 and in its Capterra reviews. Treat it as a characteristic, not a rumour.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask us

How much does EasyStore cost in Singapore?
EasyStore costs S$61, S$124, S$256 and S$359 a month across its four plans, verified against EasyStore’s own pricing page in July 2026, with no transaction fee on any of them. Your payment gateway will still take its own processing cut.
Does EasyStore sync with Shopee and Lazada?
Yes, natively, along with TikTok Shop and Lelong. This is the single best reason to choose it over Shopify in this region, where those marketplaces carry a large share of real sales and Shopify only reaches them through third-party apps.
EasyStore or Shopify?
Choose by where your customers actually are. If your sales come through Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, EasyStore is built for that and takes no cut of your sales. If you want a polished standalone storefront, a deep app ecosystem and the ability to do unusual things, Shopify is the stronger platform, and you will pay processing fees for it.
What do users complain about most?
Support. It is the recurring criticism and it is remarkably consistent: Malaysian forum threads from 2015, 2018 and 2023 all raise it, and its Capterra rating sits around 3.3 out of 5 with roughly a third of reviewers willing to recommend it. Feature depth against Shopify is the second complaint. Buy it for the channel sync with your eyes open.
Is EasyStore worth it?
For a seller whose business genuinely runs on the local marketplaces, yes, on balance, because nothing else in this price range syncs those channels natively without taking a cut of your sales. For a seller who wants a beautiful bespoke storefront and support that answers quickly, no. That is a real trade and only you know which side you are on.

I assessed EasyStore in July 2026 from its verified Singapore pricing, named reviewers, and a decade of Malaysian forum threads. I verified the SGD figures directly against EasyStore’s own page, and I deliberately omitted its ringgit pricing because I could not verify it. This is not yet a hands-on test, so it carries a research based score.
