At a glance
The short version
What we liked
- A genuinely usable free plan, not a trial with a countdown
- Proper multi-warehouse stock control, order management and reporting
- Reporting you can actually trust, which is not true of every rival here
- Slots straight into Zoho Books, which handles GST, SST and MyInvois
Where it falls short
- Not yet hands-on tested by us, research based for now
- No native Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop connector, you need middleware
- Local tax handling lives in Zoho Books, not in Inventory itself
- Customisation gets limiting at manufacturing scale
Bottom line As a piece of inventory software, this is the best thing in the category at the price, and the free tier means you can prove that for yourself before paying anything. The decision hinges on one question: do you sell on Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop? If yes, the missing native connectors are a real problem and SiteGiant or EasyStore are built for you. If no, buy this.
The verdict
What Zoho Inventory is, and who it is for
Zoho Inventory is the stock-control module of the Zoho suite. It does the things inventory software is supposed to do, and does them well: multiple warehouses, purchase and sales orders, stock levels that stay correct, and reporting that holds up. Its Capterra rating sits at 4.5 out of 5 across more than 400 reviews, and the criticism that recurs there is about customisation at manufacturing scale, which is a complaint from people asking more of it than an SMB tool should be asked.
There is a real free plan, limited to one user, two warehouses and fifty orders a month. That is small, but it is not a trap. It is enough to run a very small operation, and enough for anyone else to find out whether the product suits them before spending money. Paid plans run $39, $109, $169 and $329 a month, which we verified directly; you will still find "$29 to $249" quoted in places, including in our own earlier research, and it is out of date.
Two things a regional buyer must understand before choosing it, and neither is on the marketing page.
First, the local tax handling is not in this product. GST, SST and LHDN MyInvois are handled by Zoho Books, the accounting product. That is fine, and the two are designed to work together, but it means Zoho Inventory on its own does not solve your compliance problem and you should budget for both.
Second, and this is the one that decides it: there is no native Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop connector. For a South East Asian seller, that is not a minor gap, that is the sales floor. Bridging those channels means middleware, which means another vendor, another bill and another thing to break. If your revenue arrives through the regional marketplaces, the cleaner, better-reported software is the wrong software, and you want SiteGiant or EasyStore, whose reporting is worse and whose channel sync actually exists.
That is an uncomfortable recommendation to make, because Zoho Inventory is the better-engineered product. It is still the right one.
Pricing
What Zoho Inventory actually costs
Verified against Zoho’s own pricing page, July 2026. A free plan exists and is genuinely usable. Prices are per organisation, not per user.
| Plan | Price | Key limit | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 1 user, 2 warehouses, 50 orders/mo | A micro business, or anyone proving the product before paying. |
| StandardStart here | $39/mo | More orders and warehouses | The realistic entry point for a working small business. |
| Professional | $109/mo | Higher volume | Growing operations with real order throughput. |
| Premium | $169/mo | Higher volume again | Established multi-warehouse businesses. |
| Enterprise | $329/mo | Top tier | Large catalogues and complex operations. |
The number that matters is not on this table: the cost of the middleware you will need if you sell on Shopee or Lazada. Zoho Inventory has no native connector to the regional marketplaces, so bridging them means paying a third party. Before you compare this price against SiteGiant or EasyStore, add that cost in, or the comparison is not honest.
